We arrived in Catalina. Smoking but in one piece!!! Smoking because one of the batteries is cooked. I’ll have to replace that when I get back. Other than that it was a calm,relaxing and uneventful motor sail. Had lunch in Avalon after we moored and then went out for a late afternoon sail around the back of the island. Amazing stuff! Where else can you go and see someplace untouched for thousands of years? There are beaches with no access to them any other way than by sea. It was an interesting thought that to the west very far was Hawaii. Part 2 is coming up with the journey back. Big weather us predicted. We will see.
