I posted about someone who touched my life a few weeks ago. He was sailing around the world in his catamaran with stage 4 cancer. He lost his fight. I am deeply saddened by this but I am glad he did this on his terms. I lost my mother to cancer and I know it’s a horrible thing. This news has touched me. I never met John personally but I discovered his blog when I started sailing and I laughed an cried because I his posts. I was able to track him and his boat imagine as he sailed. He posted on many forums and his advice was inspiring. This is just a reminder that all of our days here are numbered. Don’t waste one of them.
